(Bangalore) Blasts bear Qaida imprint

The al-Qaida may not have a presence in India, but its footprint was visible in the bombs used in Bangalore and Surat, according to intelligence officials. For the first time in India, integrated circuit (IC) chips were used to assemble bombs in Bangalore and Surat, a technique perfected by the Qaida-linked Indonesian terror group Jemaah Islamiyah (JI).

Besides using the technique to bomb different places in Indonesia, JI — which aims to establish an Islamic state in Southeast Asia — has also exported it to Philippines, where terrorists have used it effectively in a number of incidents.
    Referring to the technique being used in India, intelligence officials said some local terrorists could have visited Indonesia for training via Bangladesh, a fact the UP police had first got wind of during interrogation of LeT operatives

For starters ,Andhra Pradesh can be divided into three regions, namely Coastal Andhra, Rayalaseema and Telangana . Seprarate Telangana State is some thing that has been a discussion for quite a long period of 20+ years.

Note that there is also a lot of activity going on blogospehre on this. Dont know how the future will be but am sure this will be a topic of interest for the next 2009 Assembly elections in Andhra as well as for the parliament elections.

Lets wait and see if people would want separate states for Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra and on the whole calls them selves as United States of AndhraPradesh
